The Canadian National Goat Federation was formed in December 2002 to provide a united voice dealing with national issues concerning the goat industry in Canada. Our mandate is to represent the interest of all goat Cheap Casual Clothes producers across Canada whether they are raising meat, dairy, fibre or pet animals.

New Executive for the Canadian National Goat Federation
The Canadian National Goat Federation is announcing a new executive following its recent Annual General Meeting.
June 8, 2016 - The Canadian National Goat Federation (CNGF) is undertaking an assessment of the costs associated with traceability and its implications for the goat industry, in preparation for the anticipated implementation of full traceability under the Health of Animals Act.
Recently, the CFIA released a document summarizing the comments they received during the Spring 2015 Consultation period for proposed traceability regulations under the Health of Animals Act.» more
Tag Trial Update:
In consultation with the National Goat Traceability Committee, CNGF recently decided on identifiers to be field trialled on goats. A total of eight identifiers are being trialled, including RFID and non-RFID or visual identifiers.» more
Over the past weeks, the CNGF and the National Goat Traceability Committee have progressed on the
traceability project on a number of fronts.
